Ukraine cannot become a member of NATO at the moment. This was announced on May 3 by Czech Prime Minister Andrei Babis.

"It will depend on what expectations and conditions will be formulated. We have several key topics that need to be discussed, and the process is still ongoing. It all depends on the time and specific circumstances," the prime minister said, answering a question from a correspondent of Izvestia.

The journalist also spoke about the situation in the area of the hotel where politicians stay before the summit of the European Political Community in Yerevan.

"British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, Moldovan President Maia Sandu, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky have already arrived," the correspondent added.

Babis said on May 2 that he would meet with Zelensky at the European Political Community summit in Yerevan. According to him, this meeting will be very important for him, but he refused to go to Kiev.
