Spartak football player Anton Zabolotny failed a doping test
The analysis of the doping test of the football player of Spartak Moscow, Anton Zabolotny, showed an unfavorable result. This was announced on May 3 by the club's press service.
"Anton Zabolotny was notified of the unfavorable result of the analysis of his doping sample taken as part of out-of-competition testing," RIA Novosti reports.
It is noted that the striker was temporarily suspended from training and competitions, but since April 30, the restrictive measures have been lifted by the decision of the Russian Anti-Doping Agency.
The doping test of Russian gymnast Daniil Kuzmin on March 28 gave a positive result. The prohibited substance boldenone and its metabolite were found in a sample taken from Daniil Kuzmin, a Russian gymnast, on February 3, 2026, during an out-of-competition check.
