Passengers at Sheremetyevo go through post-flight formalities for a long time due to 100% inspection at customs control. This was announced on May 3 by the airport's press service.

"The long—term passage of post-flight formalities for passengers of international flights is associated with 100% inspection during customs control on arrival," the press service wrote on the Telegram channel.

They also denied widespread reports about the introduction of the "Carpet" signal and assured that the airport was operating normally. Passengers who are on international flights were advised to take into account the increased screening time.
