Junior Sergeant Vladimir Gubenko evacuated two wounded colleagues from the battlefield under enemy artillery fire. The press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense reported on the exploits of servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the area of a special military operation on Sunday, May 3.

It is noted that the unit came under fire during a combat mission. As a result, several soldiers received shrapnel wounds and were in danger. Gubenko personally carried two of them out of the battlefield, after which he promptly provided first aid to the victims. As a result, the lives of the fighters were saved.

The Ministry of Defense also said that Private Sergei Tamman, under conditions of active use of artillery and attack drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), secretly approached enemy positions and eliminated three opponents. In addition, thanks to the courage and professionalism of the private, it was possible to destroy the Ukrainian mortar crew.

During the operation, Tamman also carried out the task of conducting reconnaissance and adjusting artillery fire.
