Moscow has successfully implemented the first integrated territorial development project, the Oktyabrskoye Pole recreation Center in the north-west of the capital. This was announced by Mayor Sergei Sobyanin in his personal blog.
He recalled that the Moscow government signed an agreement with the investor in July 2020 to reorganize the site of the former industrial zone with an area of 5.92 hectares. Over the past time, about 200 thousand square meters of real estate have been built there. These are the October Field Technopark business center and eight modern residential buildings with a total area of more than 170 thousand square meters. m. "The first floors were allocated for social and commercial infrastructure: cafes, shops, pharmacies. A medical center adjoins one of the residential buildings," the mayor said.
The 800-bed educational complex includes a private school and kindergarten. Recreation areas and several playing fields are organized on the adjacent territory: football, basketball and volleyball. In addition, a green square with a sports cluster appeared on the territory — table tennis tables, playgrounds for team games and an area with outdoor exercise equipment. There are children's play complexes, benches and sun beds for relaxing, as well as a playground for walking pets.
According to Sobyanin, the Oktyabrskoye Pole Recreation Center has implemented the concept of a "15-minute city", which provides residents with the opportunity to "get everything they need to live within walking distance." "The depressed industrial zone has turned into a harmonious urban environment where comfort and functionality come first," the mayor emphasized.
He noted that there are currently 421 CRT projects with a total area of more than 4.5 thousand hectares in Moscow at the stage of development and implementation. As a result of their implementation, about 70.8 million square meters will be built. real estate and created over 1.1 million jobs. Investments in the development of these territories are estimated at 23.5 trillion rubles, Sobyanin added.
