In Iran, 14 soldiers of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) were killed while defusing cluster bombs. This was reported on May 1 by the Tasnim news agency.

"14 soldiers of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps were killed in an explosion of unexploded ordnance," the agency's Telegram channel said.

It is clarified that after the attacks using cluster bombs and aerial mines, part of the province of Zanjan was mined and posed a threat to the population. Sapper units have been working in dangerous areas and have already discovered and defused more than 15,000 unexploded ordnance.

During one of the mine clearance operations, 14 soldiers were killed and two more were injured.

The Associated Press (AP) reported on May 1 that US President Donald Trump sent a message to representatives of the American Congress in which he stated that he considered the hostilities with Iran to be over. It clarifies that the message of the head of the White House is "legally bold." At the same time, Trump makes it clear in the text that the war with Tehran itself is "far from over."
