Minnesota defeated Dallas and advanced to the second round of the NHL playoffs
The Minnesota Wild hockey Club defeated the Dallas Stars in the sixth match of the first round of the National Hockey League (NHL) playoffs. The game ended on May 1 with a score of 5:2.
Quinn Hughes scored a double for Minnesota, Matt Baldy scored twice in an empty net, and Russian athlete Vladimir Tarasenko scored another goal. Mavrik Burk and Wyatt Johnston scored goals for Dallas.
"Russian Wild forward Vladimir Tarasenko scored an abandoned puck. For him, this goal was the first in the Stanley Cup-2026," Sport-Express reported.
Minnesota thus advanced to the second round of the playoffs, where they will play with Colorado.
HC Colorado Avalanche defeated Los Angeles Kings in the fourth match of the first round of the Stanley Cup with a score of 5:1. Canadian striker Nathan McKinnon scored a double as part of the winners. Cale Makar, Nicolas Roy and Devon Taves scored another goal each for the hosts.
