An accident with a passenger train and a truck occurred in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

The truck, having left the track, collided with an approaching passenger train. This was reported on May 1 in the Telegram channel of the Krasnoyarsk Railway.

"On April 30, at 21:50 Moscow time, at a regulated railway crossing <...>, a truck driver with a trailer drove onto the tracks in front of the approaching passenger train No. 306 Krasnoyarsk – Karabula. The train driver applied emergency braking, but the distance was insufficient, and a collision could not be avoided," the publication says.

It is noted that, according to preliminary data, there are no casualties, as well as a derailment of rolling stock. The train was delayed for 3.5 hours. It is known that the traffic accident did not affect the movement of other trains.
