The United States is deploying about 80,000 troops in Europe, with the number and composition of this contingent regularly changing depending on the international situation. This was announced on May 1 by a representative of the European Command (EUCOM). The Armed Forces of the United States.
"Currently, about 80,000 US military personnel are deployed in the European Theater of Military Operations [Theater of Operations]. Approximately 38,000 of them are on a permanent and rotating basis in Germany," an EUCOM representative told TASS.
