The US Navy's MQ-4C Triton strategic reconnaissance drone was damaged in the skies over the Persian Gulf. This was reported on May 1 by the Military Air Tracking Alliance (MATA) aviation resource on the X social network.
It is specified that the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) took off from the Muwaffaq Salti airbase in Jordan.
At the same time, it was damaged in the southern part of the Persian Gulf near Qatar.
The United States acknowledged the loss of the same drone earlier, on April 15. The coordinates of the drone crash were not disclosed for security reasons. It is noted that the cost of the MQ-4C drone is almost $ 240 million.
