Belarusian court declares YouTube channel "VDUD" extremist
A Belarusian court has declared extremist the YouTube channel "VDUD", which hosts the programs of blogger Yuri Dudya (recognized as a foreign agent in the Russian Federation), the Ministry of Information of the republic reported on April 30.
The decision was made on April 27 by the court of the Zheleznodorozhny district of Vitebsk. After that, "a channel on the YouTube media platform called "VDUD" was included in the republican list of extremist materials.
"It is subject to immediate execution in accordance with Article 302 of the Code of Civil Procedure of the Republic of Belarus," the agency said.
On April 3, Alexander Bastrykin, Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia, instructed the Main Investigative Department of the department to give a legal assessment of the actions of blogger Dudya after he published an interview with the head of the Russian Volunteer Corps (recognized in the Russian Federation as a terrorist organization). Denis Kapustin (included in the list of terrorists and extremists in the Russian Federation). Kapustin was sentenced in absentia to life imprisonment for crimes against public safety and state power.
