The number of public and private channels in the Maks messenger has exceeded 7 million. At the end of April, about 300 thousand public channels and over 6.7 million private channels were registered. This was announced on April 30 by the messenger's press service.

"The most popular are news channels, as well as blogs on Education and Cooking and Food," the statement said.

It is noted that public channels were launched in "Max" in July 2025 for authors with registration in the register of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The creation of private channels has been available to all users since February 2026. The total audience of the channels in the messenger has reached 300 million subscribers.

By the end of April, about 300,000 public channels and over 6.7 million private ones had been created in the messenger. In the last two weeks of the month, users registered an average of over 100,000 private channels per day.

As the press service added, in March, the authors, whose audience numbers 10,000 subscribers, were able to verify their channel using the A+ mark.

In April, a new feature appeared for Max users — a feed of channel recommendations. The Channels folder is located in the upper—right part of the screen, in the Chats section of the messenger. After seeing the recommendations feed in the folder, users will be able to read the description of the channels, and then click "+" to subscribe to the channel they like.
