The fountain season starts in Irkutsk on May 1. Specialists have prepared 14 facilities for launch.

Before the start of the season, workers assembled and installed the equipment, examined the integrity of the waterproofing, painted the bowls and connected them to the power grid. Throughout the season, it is planned to wash all the fountains in turn, draining the water and cleaning the bowl.

Among the prepared fountains is an object in Kirov Square, near the circus, on the 50th anniversary of October Square, on Postyshev Boulevard Square, in Cosmonauts Square on Surikov Street. The full list of fountains is provided by IrkutskMedia news agency.

In 2026, it is planned to restore part of the tile covering of the fountains in Constitution and 50th Anniversary of October squares. The fountain bowl was repainted in Kirov Square.

The fountain season starts in Stavropol on April 30.
