The Kremlin noted the efficiency in organizing Putin's international conversations
Telephone conversations between Russian President Vladimir Putin and heads of state, as in the case of US President Donald Trump, are organized promptly. This was announced by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov at a briefing on April 30.
"Telephone conversations between the two presidents can be coordinated very quickly," he said, commenting on his response to reporters on April 29, when Peskov announced the absence of an international call in the president's plans.
The Kremlin's official representative also noted that in the current geopolitical situation it is difficult to talk about the impact of one call on "improving the situation." According to Peskov, the concentration of conflicts in the world is so great that it is not necessary to talk about stopping these trends at one moment.
The day before, Putin and Trump had a telephone conversation. It lasted more than 1.5 hours. Trump said he was convinced that Russia was ready to resolve the conflict in Ukraine. He added that the phone conversation with Putin was very good. Yuri Ushakov, an aide to the Russian leader, informed that after the telephone conversations, the diders agreed to maintain further contacts.
