It is impossible to create a virus that will attack any particular ethnic group. This was announced on April 30 by Peter Chumakov, a molecular biologist and academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

"No, of course not. This is complete stupidity <...> Imagine, they forbid the exchange of genetic material. I wonder if those who forbid it know that about 1 million Russians live in America? And what is a Russian person? Russian Russians are Yakuts, Russian Jews, and Russian Tatars. <...> Everything is so mixed up, there are so many mixed marriages <...> This cannot happen," he said in an interview with RT.

According to him, if a particular person has any peculiarities, it is possible to have a specific harmful effect, not an ethnic one.

Chumakov also explained that such weapons can be aimed at a person with a poorly functioning enzyme system. However, it is impossible to create such means against an entire ethnic group.
