Traffic on the Crimean bridge was temporarily blocked

Traffic on the Crimean Bridge was blocked. This was reported on April 30 in the operational Telegram channel of the information center about the situation on the access roads to the bridge.

"Traffic on the Crimean Bridge is temporarily blocked," the publication said.

The reasons for the restrictions were not specified. Drivers who are on the bridge and in the inspection area were urged to remain calm and follow the instructions of the transport security staff.

On April 22, the Russian Ministry of Transport recalled the rules of passage on the Crimean Bridge in 2026. For example, hybrid cars and electric vehicles are prohibited from driving. The owners of these vehicles need to choose another route — the R-280 Novorossiya.

In addition, passage over the Crimean Bridge is closed to all types of trucks weighing more than 1.5 tons with and without cargo, all-metal vans with commercial bodies, booths and insulated structures, as well as passenger vans that have been converted for commercial transportation.
