Scammers have started using SMS bombing to attack Russians, in which a large number of messages arrive on the victim's phone in a short time. This was reported on April 30 at the Servicepipe research laboratory.

"The attack proceeds as follows: special programs massively enter the victim's phone number on the websites of dozens of online stores, pharmacies and service providers. As a result, a barrage of SMS messages with confirmation codes is sent to a person's phone," the RIA Novosti service said.
