The Investigative Committee opened a case on the death of two people in a fire in the Lipetsk region.

A criminal case has been opened in the Lipetsk region over the deaths of a 90-year-old woman and her son in a fire in a private house. This is reported by the regional SU of the Investigative Committee of Russia.

The fire occurred on April 29 in the village of Pyatnitskoye in the Izmalkovsky district. A private house on Zeleny Lane caught fire.

After extinguishing the fire, the bodies of a 90-year-old woman and her 68-year-old son were found in the house. The preliminary cause of their deaths in the UK is carbon monoxide poisoning, writes GOROD48.

A criminal case has been opened under Part 3 of Article 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Causing death by negligence." A number of examinations have been appointed, and all the circumstances of the incident are being established.

On April 28, a large fire broke out in a building under construction in the north of Moscow. At least eight people were killed and 12 others were injured. The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case, and five people were detained the next day as part of its investigation.
