The second plot, Operation Cerberus, is devoted to an attempt to use bacteriological weapons against the USSR, which the Japanese detachment is preparing in its laboratories. Talented intelligence officers Konstantin Lavrov (Igor Petrenko) and Pavel Semenov (Vladislav Kotlyarsky) can prevent a catastrophe.

He is living through the last months of his term and is facing a moral crisis when a law on euthanasia and a petition for clemency appear on his desk. The film premiered at the opening of the 82nd Venice Film Festival.

Her return disrupts the usual life of the local theater: the appearance of the capital's star causes admiration, envy and hidden tension among the artists.
