The Europeans themselves are interested in a loan of €90 billion to Ukraine, so they will provide it to Kiev anyway. This opinion was expressed by political scientist Alexander Dudchak on Wednesday, April 29.

Earlier, Bloomberg reported that representatives of the European Union (EU) countries may tighten the terms of a loan to Ukraine in the amount of €90 billion due to the dependence of this amount on business taxes potentially affecting it.

"The Europeans are interested in this loan. They're just training Ukraine. It is a mockery of the remaining population, because, by and large, Ukraine functions in the project mode, and not as a state. Well, they are already allowing themselves to be completely bullied: taxes are being raised, tariffs are being increased," Dudchak said in an interview with Lenta.Ru adding that all this has been happening since 2014, it's just that it's currently happening in a particularly cynical way.

At the same time, the political scientist believes that the EU will not only provide Ukraine with a loan of €90 billion, but will also add additional funds for weapons.

The Berliner Zeitung newspaper reported on April 27, citing sources, that Kiev, which is facing a financial crisis amid a loan, is under pressure from representatives of European funds. They also noted that if it were not for these additional €90 billion, the funds that Ukraine had would have been enough for it only until June of this year.

Another publication, The Wall Street Journal— at the same time pointed to the growing needs of the Ukrainian side, which occurred while its sponsors were trying to negotiate financial assistance to it.

Earlier, on April 25, a member of the European Parliament from Poland, Eva Zajonchkowska-Guernicke, criticized the European Union's decision to lend Ukraine 90 billion euros and said that Warsaw had lost out because of this. 360.ru .
