Sobyanin announced the Moscow Spring Festival

The Moscow Spring Festival starts in the capital on May 1. Over the course of 11 days, events and activities dedicated to the Great Victory and the culture of the peoples of Russia will be held at 30 venues in the capital, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said on his Maks channel.

The events of the festival "will remind that the Great Victory is the result of unity and unity, and will also introduce citizens to the culture of the peoples of Russia," the head of the capital emphasized. For example, in the locations you can try Udmurt perepechi, Amur dumplings and Far Eastern fish soup, make a Kostroma birdhouse or participate in folk games.

The main point of the festival will be Tverskaya Boulevard, where a large-scale gastronomic program will be presented. On Tverskaya Square, artists and artisans will show their works. In addition, "Houses of Kindness" of the Moscow Helps project will be opened at all festival venues, where humanitarian aid is accepted for participants of the free movement and children from new regions, as well as pet supplies for animals in shelters.

Creative workshops, concerts, fairs and sports competitions are planned at the district venues, including folk power games, TRP disciplines and the "Strongest resident of the district" tournament. Visitors to the locations will also be able to practice on professional racing simulators.
