On April 29, the Federation Council approved a draft law on conducting an experiment on the sale of medicines using mobile pharmacy points in localities where there are no permanent pharmacies starting from September 1, 2026.

The innovation will affect villages where there are no pharmacies, medical organizations and individual entrepreneurs with a pharmaceutical license. A mobile pharmacy is a structural subdivision of a pharmacy organization that operates outside a stationary retail facility using an isolated module on a vehicle platform with a separate driver's cabin.
