Dinopark and dinosaur Museum built in Blagoveshchensk
A dinopark and a dinosaur museum will be opened in Blagoveshchensk on the territory of the Tribune Hall. Their opening is scheduled for June 1, when the Amur Economic Forum begins.
This was announced by the governor of the Amur region Vasily Orlov.
The dinopark will feature more than 20 interactive exhibits in jungle-like interiors. Visitors will be given the opportunity to touch animatronic dinosaurs.
The space will be divided into three zones. One of them is the "Paleontologists' Base". It will house real fossils and tools of scientists. Other halls will house elements of all stages of evolution: from unicellular organisms and the origin of life to the settlement of dinosaurs on the planet.
And on the second floor, next to the giants, there will be figures of herbivores, marine, flying and those dinosaurs whose footprints were found in modern Russia.
According to the head of the region, quoted by PriamurMedia news agency, Blagoveshchensk is actively developing. Recently, a new airport and the House of Russian-Chinese Friendship were opened in the capital of the region. This year, the construction of the expocenter will begin, and a new hotel will appear on the Golden Mile.
In mid-March, it was reported that a cable car was under construction in the Amur Region, which would connect Blagoveshchensk with the Chinese town of Heihe. The Chinese developer estimates the readiness of the facility as 97%. The launch, according to preliminary data, is planned this summer.
