Siluanov named the share of actively saving Russians
The share of the actively saving population in Russia is 48%. This was announced on April 29 by the Minister of Finance of the Russian Federation Anton Siluanov as part of the educational marathon "Knowledge. The first ones."
"We see that the share of the population in Russia that actively saves is only 48%, less than half. Less than half of the people who actively save," he said.
Siluanov also stressed the importance of forming a financial "safety cushion", specifying that the availability of savings is important not only for the well-being of citizens, but also for the stability of the state.
According to the minister, financial knowledge is necessary for Russians, including to protect themselves from fraudulent structures and dropper organizations. Siluanov added that the attackers are using increasingly sophisticated schemes, which can be countered by a high level of literacy in monetary matters.
On the same day, Olga Trofimenko, founder of the financial consulting center Family Capital, said that simply accumulating money without its economic realization is a passive model that does not lead to results. According to her, simple hoarding only leads to permanent restrictions and subsequently to disruption. In addition, due to inflation, money is lost, despite the apparent increase in funds.
