Chekalina continues to fight stage four stomach cancer. She is undergoing therapy at the Blokhin Cancer Center. The treatment consists of nine stages. The last sessions of chemotherapy were especially difficult for the blogger. The disease caused serious complications, including partial loss of vision and difficulty moving.

In the caption to the publication, he said that their dancing classes stopped in the seventh month of the blogger's pregnancy due to increased pain.

"For months, I carried you in my arms and gave you two strong injections at night so that you could sleep for a while. The doctors said that the pain would go away after giving birth, but after that we only had a terrible diagnosis," he wrote.

The path to recovery began after a course of radiation therapy and spinal surgery. According to Squicciarini, Chekalina's reaction to the permission to engage in light physical activity was very exciting. He said that in the first lesson, after a long break, her legs were shaking and her muscles were almost unresponsive. Squicciarini asked her to trust him and expressed confidence in her successful rehabilitation.
