The Bundestag has not responded to the Russian State Duma's request for the transfer of nuclear components to Ukraine by France and Britain. This was announced on April 29 by Russian Ambassador to Germany Sergey Nechaev.

"Of course, the appeal of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation was immediately submitted to the Bundestag. There has been no reaction to it yet," he said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

It is specified that, in addition to the Bundestag, the appeals of the State Duma were sent to the House of Commons of Great Britain, the National Assembly of France, the European Parliament and the United Nations (UN).

On February 24, the press bureau of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service reported on the plans of London and Paris to secretly transfer nuclear weapons to Kiev. After that, the Federation Council called on the French and British sides to conduct parliamentary investigations, and the chairman of the instance, Valentina Matvienko, stressed that Ukraine's status as a nuclear-weapon-free state was not subject to revision.

Russian President Vladimir Putin said on February 24 that Russia's opponents, who "do not disdain any means," understand how an attempt to use nuclear weapons can end. He added that Western countries are trying to disrupt the peace negotiation process in this way.
