The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) used homemade mines disguised as electronic cigarettes in the village of Ilyinovka in the Konstantinovsky direction of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). This was announced on April 29 by a soldier of the Southern Group of Forces with the call sign Artist.

"A colleague encountered a booby—trapped device disguised as an electronic gadget — an explosion occurred upon contact," he told RIA Novosti.
