May 7th
Beth, Joe and Frank, along with their parents, move to the countryside: their father Tim believes that living on earth, away from gadgets and the temptations of the big city, will strengthen the family and give children an understanding of true values. Every journey becomes not only an adventure, but also a challenge: children have to learn to deal with fears, overcome temptations and help each other. And then a new trouble comes: Beth, Joe and Frank's grandmother dreams of bringing the children back to the city at any cost. Now the whole family will have to try to keep their right to magic...
The film is based on the book by Enid Blyton, a world—famous British writer of children's adventure literature. Director Ben Gregor ("Britain", "Naked") took a very careful approach to the original, paying maximum attention to the video sequence of the fabulous multiverse, filled with vivid details and memorable characters. The film has quite a stellar cast: the main roles are played by Andrew Garfield ("The New Spider-Man"), Rebecca Ferguson ("Dune") and the winner of two Emmys, Claire Foy. Beautiful, expensive, high-quality: an excellent choice for family viewing.

Attempts to create a strong thriller are still difficult for Russian directors: perhaps the reason is that most cinematographers consider it quite sufficient to demonstrate the Russian rural hinterland or working-class areas of northern cities to create a gloomy horror atmosphere. The creators of "Cassette number Seven" took a serious approach to creating a world devastated by the epidemic, and for this alone, the attempt should be considered successful. Valeria Pripasnikova, previously known mainly for songs for older preschoolers, looks unexpectedly organic on the screen.
"One's own in the board"

One day, Alla receives a call from the police, and she is surprised to learn that her son is not only skipping university preparatory courses, skating instead of skateboarding, but is not going to go to university at all, dreaming of becoming a professional skater. In the heat of the scandal, her son tells Alla that he will agree to continue his studies only if she manages to qualify for prestigious skate competitions. Alla is a stubborn woman, and under the guidance of Gosha's school double, she boldly stands on a board with wheels. Numerous Russian comedies about the problems of the Balzac age of divorced women with trailers are reduced by compassionate directors to the search for great and pure love — as a result, it turns out boring and unnatural. Director Ilya Lebedev ("August", "The Love of the Soviet Union") found the courage to assume that women over thirty dream of finding not only a man, but also themselves — and unexpectedly the story he told turned out to be easy, logically constructed and psychologically reliable, and even sweet. It's time to show at parenting seminars about finding a common language with scruffy teenagers. Moms, skate! Well, or at least to the cinema for starters. You'll like it.
"Dirty money"
May 21st
A team of mercenaries led by the beautiful Sofia (Asa Gonzalez — "Ministry of Non-Gentlemanly Affairs") works undercover around the world, ready to do any dirty work. The main striking force of the brigade is Sid (Henry Cavill — "Justice League") and Bronco (Jake Gyllenhaal — "Translator"), who masterfully wield any weapon, explosives, drive anything that can move, and are not without charm — at least they offer their opponents a choice from the doorstep: solve the problem with gentlemanly or the boyish way. A difficult task awaits the team — Bronco and Sid must return to the owner a billion-dollar fortune stolen by the king of the criminal world named Salazar.
Guy Ritchie traditionally mixes a cool brew, maintaining the perfect balance of black humor and hard action. Richie knows this magic formula from the very first steps in the cinema, and since then he has never spoiled his signature cool batch. Moreover, the main roles are played by actors from the cohort of Richie's favorites: Asa Gonzalez, Henry Cavill and Jake Gyllenhaal are not working with the maestro for the first time, they know exactly what is required of them, and they clearly enjoy the shooting and explosions on the screen. So fans of action movies in general and Guy Ritchie films in particular are required to watch Dirty Money.
"While the sky is watching"
May 21st
Alice, Arseny, Stepan, Kirill, Timur, Lyosha and Kristina do not see their lives without dancing. They are fond of underground styles: informal get-togethers, competitions without spotlights and stages, basements as dance floors, friends instead of an auditorium. And still, everyone works their ass off to become the best of the best. But now the ghost of future fame begins to loom in front of the friends-dancers, and in order to achieve it, you just need to take part in a major TV show, where they are invited by the producers. However, going into a TV project means sacrificing their own creative principles, and the guys argue themselves hoarse, dreaming of recognition but not wanting to give up freedom of expression in their life's work for it...
48-year—old Roman Mikhailov is a Doctor of Physico-mathematical Sciences, professor, specialist in homological and homotopy algebra, author of more than 60 scientific monographs. In 2022, Mikhailov announced the end of his scientific career and plunged headlong into creativity — first in literature, and then in cinema, having managed to shoot six films in three years and receive a considerable number of professional awards. Such a person should make an author's film, and Mikhailov's existence is an undoubted success for the domestic art house. During his four-year career as a creator, he managed to release nine films, receiving many professional awards. Mikhailov's signature style is complete creative freedom in the frame: the actors talk, sit and move as if there were no camera nearby, and they speak haltingly, but heartily — it feels like instead of pages of texts to memorize, Mikhailov asked the actors to just be themselves. "While the Sky is Watching" is another hymn to creative freedom, which Mikhailov generously shares with the world. Don't give up. It will be interesting.
"Michael"
May 28th
The story of the king of pop music ranges from a family musical group rehearsing in their own home in a small town in Indiana, to ecstatic stadiums and the largest concert halls on the planet. Michael Jackson began his musical career with his brothers under the guidance of his father, for whom music became a way to escape from poverty and endless hard work at the factory. But the further he goes, the more clearly Michael realizes that he is capable of more. He will have to experience dazzling glory — and get to know its underside.
Graham King, who previously worked on Bohemian Rhapsody, became the producer of "Michael," so Jackson's hits, familiar to a couple of generations, are precisely combined with heartwarming stories from the singer's private life. Parents who are ready to pick up Billie Jean from anywhere will finally be able to introduce grown-up children to the world of their own musical preferences from the time of nebulous youth — and perhaps fathers and children will be able to understand each other, because music is really incendiary. The role of the pop king is played by Jaafar Jackson, Michael's nephew.
