Lokomotiv won the first semi-final against Avangard

Yaroslavl Hockey club (HC) Lokomotiv scored a guest victory over Omsk HC Avangard in the third match of the semi-final series of the Gagarin Cup. The match ended on April 28 with a score of 4:2 in favor of the guests.

The Omsk team led 2-0 in the first period thanks to goals from Igor Martynov and Damir Sharipzyanov. However, in the second twenty minutes, Lokomotiv managed to recoup and take the lead.

Rushan Rafikov, Alexander Polunin and Alexander Radulov scored goals for the Railwaymen. At the end of the match, Richard Panik scored the fourth goal into the empty net of the home team. Forward Georgy Ivanov scored two assists in this match.
