Over the past week, more than 2.7 thousand residents of the Pskov region turned to doctors with acute respiratory viral infections (ARVI). The incidence decreased by 6.7%.
According to the Pskov news feed, the proportion of children under the age of 14 in the morbidity structure is 65.1%. Six classes in three schools and three groups in two kindergartens were quarantined.
25 people were hospitalized, which is 14 less than a week earlier. No cases of influenza have been reported.
Earlier, cardiologists talked about the effects of acute respiratory viral infections on the cardiovascular system. This is due to intoxication and vascular damage, which increases the load on the heart and can lead to thrombosis and circulatory disorders.
