People's Artist of Russia Robert Lyapidevsky will be buried at the Novodevichy Cemetery. This was announced by the actor's family on April 28.

"Most likely, they will be buried at the Novodevichy cemetery," RIA Novosti quoted the family as saying.

It is specified that the memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 30.

The death of the People's Artist was announced on April 28 by the S.V. Obraztsov Academic Central Puppet Theater. The actor was 89 years old. Over the years of his career, Lyapidevsky played dozens of roles: the Spirit of the bloody Countess, Tsar Saltan, Aladdin, Don Juan, the Cretan bull, Eeyore the donkey, as well as the Angel, the Devil and the Creator in the Divine Comedy.
