Rescuers found the bodies of three more victims at the site of an avalanche at the Irokinda mine in Buryatia. This was announced on April 28 by the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations.

"The bodies of two more victims were found at the site of an avalanche at the Irokinda mine in Buryatia," the ministry said in a statement.

Later, the Ministry of Emergency Situations added that they had found another body.

An avalanche hit the Irokinda mine in Buryatia on April 28. A helicopter has already flown to the scene, with rescuers on board. The Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia reported that a criminal case was opened with the IC in the Republic of Buryatia on the fact of an avalanche on employees of a mining enterprise on the grounds of a crime under Part 3 of Article 216 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of safety rules during construction and other work, resulting in the death of two or more persons by negligence").

Later, the names of six people who were trapped in an avalanche at the Irokinda mine in Buryatia became known. Under the snow mass are the tunnellers Anton Sh., Alexey T. and Vladimir K. Bayar Ts electricians were also in the disaster area. and Erdyn Ts. and the student Ayur J., who is studying to become an electrician.
