Employees of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations evacuated an injured tourist from Mount Elbrus in the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic. This was announced on April 28 by the press service of the department.

Information about what is at an altitude of 5 thousand. When the man was injured, rescuers received him immediately. Specialists from the Elbrus high-altitude search and Rescue squad of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations came to the aid of the victim.

Six personnel and two pieces of equipment were involved in the work. A man aged 23 was lowered into the Azau clearing. The tourist was diagnosed with bruises, but he refused medical help.

In Buryatia, on April 24, four climbers were covered by an avalanche on a mountain. Rescuers of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations found four tourists from a group trapped in an avalanche in Buryatia — three of them were injured, one died. Later, on April 25, a source from Izvestia reported that the number of tourists killed in an avalanche on a mountain in Buryatia had increased to two.
