Putin visits the Federal Center for Disaster Medicine
Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived at the Federal Center for Disaster Medicine (FCMC) in Moscow on April 28.
The Head of State toured the exhibition of domestic medical equipment, which featured ventilators, defibrillators, cardiographs, telemedicine devices, as well as samples of Russian medicines and new automotive X-ray machines.
Alexey Osipov, Director of FCMC, showed the president a mobile operating complex that allows for the rapid conversion of premises into multidisciplinary hospitals in emergency regions. The Ansat ambulance helicopter, used to evacuate serious patients, including in Kursk, Belgorod and Bryansk, was also presented at the exhibition.
It is specified that during the visit, Putin will also open new modular ambulance facilities in the regions via video link and hold a meeting with Minister of Health Mikhail Murashko.
