The abuse of barbecue during the May holidays can lead to a deterioration of well-being. Oksana Mikhaleva, endocrinologist at SM Clinic, warned about this on Tuesday, April 28.

"Without harm to health, you can eat a portion of shish kebab weighing about 200 g at a time. It is this volume that the body is able to digest and assimilate normally without overloading the digestive tract. At the same time, you can use shish kebab no more than once every two to four weeks," Mikhaleva said in a conversation with Lenta.Ru .

According to the doctor, shish kebab is not always a healthy dish — when frying on coals, products of gorenje and oxidation of fats are released — powerful carcinogens that increase the risk of cancer, in particular intestinal cancer. The fatter the piece, the more these substances are formed, therefore, the more dangerous the barbecue becomes, the endocrinologist emphasized.

Mikhaleva added that, in addition to carcinogens, such meat processing produces a lot of end products of glycation. They accelerate the aging of the body, and also affect the development of obesity, diabetes, and cancer, the specialist concluded.

In turn, Turgunboy Zokirov, an assistant at the Department of Administrative Law and Procedure at Kutafin State Law University, warned on April 23 that the amount of the fine for the release of smoldering coals in green areas could amount to 50 thousand rubles, according to the website. kp.ru .

Ivan Kurbakov, a member of the Russian Bar Association, said that Russians face a fine of up to 15,000 rubles for non—compliance with fire safety rules when cooking barbecue in their country, and up to 50,000 rubles if a fire breaks out. 360.ru .

It is allowed to cook food using an open fire and a campfire in mangalas and braziers at a distance of 5 m from houses and farm buildings on the site. In addition, it is necessary to clear the land nearby up to 2 m, NSN reports.

Alexander Kogan, Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Ecology, Natural Resources and Environmental Protection, announced on March 25 that the State Duma and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of Russia are working on changing legislation that will legalize the improvement of urban forests.
