On April 30, at 12:00, a press conference will be held at the Izvestia News Center: "Tick season 2026: risks and recommendations for the public."

Which regions are expected to have the most tick activity? Which infections are most often transmitted to humans through tick bites? How serious can the consequences of infection be in the absence of timely treatment? What mistakes do people make most often during outdoor recreation?

Participants:

-Olga Skudareva, Head of the Department of Biological Safety and Sanitary Protection of the Territory of the Department of Epidemiological Welfare of the Population of Rospotrebnadzor;

- Mikhail Alekseev, a leading researcher at the Disinsection Department of the Institute of Disinfection of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "FNTSG named after F. F. Erisman" of Rospotrebnadzor, Candidate of Biological Sciences.
