The Foreign Ministry reported on the victims in the "African Corps" during the terrorist attack in Mali

There are casualties in the Russian Afrika Korps as a result of the rebel attack in Mali. This was announced on April 28 during a meeting of the international committee of the Federation Council by Deputy Head of the Russian Foreign Ministry Georgy Borisenko.

"On April 25, coordinated attacks by terrorist groups affiliated with al-Qaeda (a terrorist organization banned in the Russian Federation. — Ed.), as well as Tuareg separatists. Together, they have attacked the armed forces of that country in many parts of the country and, unfortunately, a unit of our Afrika Korps. As a result, there are casualties on our part," he said.
