The State Duma recalled support measures for single pensioners

In Russia, a single pensioner in a difficult life situation can count on one-time financial assistance. Maria Drobot, a deputy from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on Family Protection, Fatherhood, Motherhood and Childhood, recalled this on April 28.

"A single pensioner who finds himself in a difficult life situation can apply for one-time financial assistance. It is provided, for example, in case of loss of property, the need for expensive medical treatment or in other difficult circumstances. The order of appointment and the amount of payment are determined by regional regulations," she told TASS.
