In South Sudan, a Cessna passenger plane from CityLink Aviation crashed on approach to the capital Juba, killing 14 people. This was reported on April 27 by The EastAfrican, citing sources.

"A Cessna plane crashed on the outskirts of Juba, killing 14 people on board," the South Sudan Civil Aviation Authority reported.

The cause of the crash was poor visibility due to adverse weather conditions.

Two of the dead were Kenyan citizens.

The New York Post (NYP) newspaper reported on April 23 that two people were killed in a collision between an airplane and a fire truck at LaGuardia Airport in New York. It later became clear that more than 40 people were injured in the collision. The cause of the incident was the dispatcher's error.
