Associates of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban allegedly began withdrawing capital from the country after the defeat of his Fidesz party in the parliamentary elections. This was reported on April 27 by The Guardian newspaper.

"It became known about three members of this inner circle who began to transfer their assets abroad," the publication says.

In Hungary, after the defeat of Prime Minister Viktor Orban and his Fidesz party in the parliamentary elections, a hasty withdrawal of capital began. This was reported on April 26 by the British newspaper The Guardian.

It is noted that some of the funds are sent to the countries of the Middle East — Saudi Arabia, Oman and the United Arab Emirates, and the other part — to Australia and Singapore.

Peter Magyar, the leader of the victorious opposition Tisa party, said Fidesz supporters were trying to hide assets from responsibility before his government took office in early May.
