The Russian Defense Ministry said that a column of military equipment will not take part in the parade this year.

At the end of the parade, a wreath-laying ceremony is planned at the Grave of the Unknown Soldier in the Alexander Garden. The leaders of foreign countries will take part in it together with the Russian leader.
Themed installations, national flags and archival photographs of the war years will be placed on the streets adjacent to Red Square. In addition, military bands are expected to perform during the celebration.
