- The acceptance of applications for the VII season of the ArtMasters Championship has been extended
Applications for participation in the VII season of the ArtMasters National Open Championship of Creative Competencies have been extended until May 10, 2026 for the main age category and until May 5, 2026 for the Juniors. Initially, the application campaign was supposed to end on April 30, but the deadline was extended by the decision of the organizers.
"We have decided to extend the application period for the VII season of the ArtMasters Championship due to the unprecedented high interest and large number of requests from potential participants. Many young people do not have time to complete their portfolios and apply in a timely manner during the exam period and high workload. We are always ready to take a step towards the participants, allowing everyone to realize their right to professional development and recognition in the field of creative industries," said Borislav Volodin, Director of ANO ArtMasters.
The championship includes two age categories: the main (18-35 years old) and the "Juniors" (14-17 years old). Participants can choose to express themselves in 32 competencies.
For the main category: Web Designer (UX/UI), Game Designer, Graphic Designer, Theater and Film Playwright, Sound Engineer (FOH), Composer of popular music, Creative Producer, Curator of exhibition spaces, Media Composer, Motion Designer, Film and TV Operator, Stage Mechanic Operator, Industrial Engineer, Set designer, Stylist, Technical producer, Photographer, Lighting designer, Animation artist, VFX designer.
For "Juniors": 3D designer, Web designer, Video Editor, Videographer, Film and music sound engineer, Music video maker, Popular music composer, Producer, Stylist, Screenwriter, Photographer, Animation artist.
The competition consists of three stages: qualifying, qualification and final. The winners will receive cash certificates (1st place — up to 750 thousand rubles, 2nd place — up to 500 thousand rubles, 3rd place — up to 250 thousand rubles, for juniors — 300 thousand, 200 thousand and 100 thousand, respectively), as well as opportunities for internships, employment and integration of work into real projects. The status of a finalist and winner of the Championship will be taken into account as an individual achievement when applying to universities in specialized areas of study.
The culmination of the project will be a gala concert on the New Stage of the State Academic Bolshoi Theatre, where the official award ceremony will take place. The event will be attended by representatives of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation, federal agencies and key figures of the creative industries.
The ArtMasters Championship is the main competition for creative industry professionals in Russia, including in the field of backstage and digital art. The main theme of the VII season of the competition is "The power of Unity. The art that unites." The project forms a pool of highly qualified experts and contributes to the expansion of the creative cluster, which corresponds to the priorities of state policy in the field of the development of creative industries and human capital. Graduates of the championship are in steady demand in the labor market.
The competition is an important part of the ArtMasters ecosystem, which unites creative industry professionals. Participants gain access to a large-scale opportunity platform that supports talents through educational programs, grants, and collaborations. All ArtMasters projects are open to new participants and specialists from Russia and other countries. The ecosystem was created to unleash the creative potential of everyone with the support of business, government and experts in the field of creative industries.
The project is being implemented with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation and the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation. Over the past six years, 130,000 people have participated in the Championship. More than 1,700 people became finalists of the project, and 489 people received cash prizes.
