In Samara, a child and a man died as a result of falling trees on sidewalks. This was announced on April 27 by the prosecutor's office of the Samara region.

The first incident was recorded on Nizhegorodskaya Street. According to preliminary data from the supervisory authority, the tree fell on the pedestrian zone where the minors were. One child died, and the other was hospitalized.

"The prosecutor's office of the Kuibyshev district of Samara has organized an inspection of compliance with federal legislation on landscaping," the Telegram channel said.

On the same day, a similar incident occurred on Karl Marx Avenue. A man died there as a result of a falling tree. The fact is being checked by the prosecutor's office of the Kirovsky district of the city. Representatives of the department will assess the quality of the maintenance of green spaces and compliance with landscaping standards.

On the same day, the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation reported that one minor was killed during bad weather in the regions of the Russian Federation, and 31 more people, including four children, were injured. It is noted that over 740 trees fell in the regions affected by the bad weather, and 80 vehicles were also damaged.

Representatives of the Hydrometeorological Center on the same day declared an orange weather hazard level in the capital and its region due to heavy snow, and at the same time Roscosmos published satellite images capturing the "winter landscape" of Moscow, where the air temperature was recorded below zero, and the Moscow region.
