The Kremlin will later inform about which foreign leaders plan to visit Moscow to celebrate Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War on May 9. This was announced on April 27 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

"We will inform you later," he replied to RTVI's question.

Before that, on April 23, Peskov said that the Kremlin would promptly inform the number of heads of state who intend to visit the capital for the celebration. However, he also noted that he did not know anything about the estimated number of guests.

On April 19, Deputy Speaker of the Slovak Parliament Tibor Gaspar announced that he and Prime Minister Robert Fico plan to attend Victory Day events. President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko also confirmed his participation in the celebration on April 12.

In early April, Russian Presidential aide Yuri Ushakov said that several foreign statesmen had expressed a desire to visit the capital to celebrate May 9. Peskov announced on April 5 that the Kremlin was preparing to celebrate Victory Day this year.
