TV presenter Alexey Pimanov was for many a teacher and mentor, always ready to help. Actor Stanislav Duzhnikov told Izvestia about this on April 27.

"He was, first of all, a man of great soul. Attentive, caring, who did not leave anyone. It is a pity and very sad that Alexey is no longer with us," he concluded.

Earlier that day, a farewell ceremony for the Pimanovs began in the funeral hall of the Troekurovsky cemetery. His family, friends and colleagues came to say goodbye to the journalist. The event was also attended by many representatives of the television industry and public figures. Prior to that, Russian President Vladimir Putin called the TV presenter's departure a loss for Russian journalism.

Also, the official representative of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, Lieutenant General Igor Konashenkov, noted that Pimanov was able to set people up to achieve their goals. Svetlana Petrenko, an official representative of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, said that law enforcement officers often collaborated with Pimanov and his projects. With the participation of employees of the Investigative Committee, many investigations of the program "Man and the Law" were released.

Pimanov died on April 23 at the age of 65. His wife, actress Olga Pogodina, said that the cause of death of the TV presenter was a heart attack. In 1996, the journalist became one of the founders of the Ostankino TV channel, as well as the main presenter of the Man and the Law program. Later, he became president of the Krasnaya Zvezda media holding, where he also wrote scripts for films.
