Rosneft held corporate GTO competitions
Rosneft held large-scale corporate competitions to meet the standards of the All-Russian Physical Culture and Sports Complex "Ready for Labor and Defense" (GTO). The two-day competition was held at the CSKA Athletics and Football complex in Moscow.
Amateur athletes from 65 companies of the company took part in the competition. Athletes could pass the TRP standards in 13 disciplines, including short- and long-distance running, long jumps, bends, pull-ups, push-ups, kettlebell snatch and shooting. The participants were divided into groups based on difficulty levels and age.
The event also included a tag rugby team tournament and functional all-around competitions, where athletes competed in rowing on simulators, jumping with a ball, working with a rope, swinging kettlebells and complex strength exercises. 55 teams took part in the competition.
The winners received diplomas, cups and certificates. The award ceremony was attended by Leonid Panfilov, pilot of the LADA Sport ROSNEFT team, Russian champion in ring racing in the team competition in the Super-production class.
Support for mass sports is one of the key priorities of Rosneft's social policy, the company stressed. As part of the corporate sports and recreation movement "Energy of Life" in 2025, more than 134 thousand employees of the company regularly engaged in sports, over 96 thousand of them took part in various competitions.
The All-Russian Physical Culture and Sports Complex "Ready for Labor and Defense" (GTO) is a full—fledged programmatic and regulatory framework for physical education of the country's population, aimed at developing mass sports and improving the health of the nation. The TRP complex provides for preparation for the implementation and direct fulfillment by the population of various age groups (from 6 to 70 years and older) of the established regulatory requirements for three levels of difficulty corresponding to the gold, silver and bronze insignia "Ready for Labor and Defense" (TRP).
