"If someone thought that a multiparty democracy with its difference of positions, approaches, and competition is our vulnerable place where society can be split and shaken, then the one who thought so was, of course, mistaken. Because they simply do not know and do not understand Russia, our people do not understand," the head of state said.

Putin recalled the elections to the State Duma, noting that the election campaign should not influence the current work of lawmakers.
"The electoral process, sometimes intense competition between candidates and parties, should not affect the systematic, professional legislative work in the center, in the regions, and locally," the president said, stressing that parliament is a government body, and people expect honest service and results from the government.
He also pointed out that the election campaign must be conducted in strict accordance with the law so that its results are transparent, reliable and, of course, legitimate. They would reflect the will of the people.

During the meeting, the Russian President pointed out that Russia needs to find a balanced model for regulating artificial intelligence technologies, taking into account foreign experience: "The first outlines of the regulatory framework in the field of artificial intelligence are on the agenda.
