Russian defender of HC Carolina Hurricanes Alexander Nikishin could not finish the fourth match of the first round of the National Hockey League (NHL) playoffs against Ottawa due to the opponent's harsh power play. The meeting took place on April 25.

According to the "Sport-Express", in the second half of the game, the 24-year-old hockey player was forcefully influenced by the defender of the HC Ottawa Senators, Tyler Kleven. A scuffle broke out between the players.
