A leak on a sulfuric acid pipeline in the Vologda region has been eliminated
A sulfuric acid leak caused by damage to the pipeline as a result of the Ukrainian Armed Forces attack on the Vologda region has been eliminated. This was announced by the head of the region, Georgy Filimonov.
"The sulfuric acid pipeline has been breached, the leak has been eliminated, there are no emissions of dangerous chemicals," he wrote in his channel on the MAX messenger.
Filimonov also said that air measurements showed no excess of the maximum permissible concentration of harmful substances.
Earlier it was reported that as a result of the drone attack, a high-pressure pipeline with sulfuric acid in the territory of the nitrogen complex was damaged. Five people were injured, one of whom is in serious condition.
