A fire broke out in the Volgograd region after a UAV attack
In the Kotelnikovsky district of the Volgograd region, as a result of falling debris from a drone of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), construction materials caught fire on the territory of an industrial site. This was announced on April 25 by the governor of the region Andrey Bocharov.
"As a result of falling debris in the Karaichev farm on the territory of an industrial site, construction materials ignited on an area of 50 square meters. m," the administration of the Volgograd region quotes the head of the region in the Telegram channel.
It is noted that the fire has been eliminated. There are no casualties.
Bocharov also said that last night the air defense units of the Russian Ministry of Defense repelled a terrorist attack by unmanned aerial vehicles on energy infrastructure facilities in the Volgograd region.
On the same day, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the air defense forces had eliminated 127 drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine overnight. The ministry clarified that the drones were shot down over the Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Kaluga, Kursk, Orel, Smolensk, Rostov, Volgograd, Astrakhan, Sverdlovsk and Chelyabinsk regions, the Republics of Crimea and Tatarstan, as well as over the Black and Azov Seas.
